What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing information, and the details you enter about your order, including student name and homeroom where a product asks for them.

What we use it for

Your information is used to produce your order, label it, and deliver it to the school. Student names and homerooms are used only to identify whose order is whose. They are not used for anything else.

Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify. We do not see or store your full card number.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any third party, for any purpose, at any time, including after our agreement with the school ends. This applies to our other school clients and to any advertiser or data broker. The only exceptions are what is strictly necessary to fill your order, such as a garment supplier, and anything required by law.

We also do not ask River Mill Academy for lists of families, parents, students, or staff, and we will not accept one. We have no access to the school's email system, student information system, or directory. Any communication you receive from us is because you gave us your address here, not because the school gave it to us.

Store emails

If you subscribe through the store, we may email you about store news and sales. Every message includes an unsubscribe link and we honor it promptly.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold and limit access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting your information is ever confirmed, we notify the school within 72 hours and cooperate in responding to it.

How long we keep it

We keep order information only as long as needed for the purposes above. If our agreement with River Mill Academy ends, order records containing student information are deleted within 90 days, except where we are required to keep records for tax or legal reasons.
